Temporary Road Closure - A228 Ashton Way, West Malling - 17th October 2022 (Tonbridge and Malling District)
It will be necessary to close part of A228 Ashton Way, West Malling from 17th October 2022 for up to 5 nights between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00.
A228 Ashton Way, West Malling will be closed between the junctions with Bull Road Roundabout and Tower View Roundabout, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The 7.5 tonne weight restriction on B2246 Hermitage Lane will be temporarily suspended, to allow for diverted traffic.
The alternative route for through traffic is via A228 Ashton Way, Malling Road, A26 Tonbridge Road, Fountain Lane, B2246 Hermitage Lane, A20 London Road, Coldharbour Lane, M20 J4, A228 Leybourne By Pass and vice versa.
The alternative route for non-motorway traffic is via A228 Leybourne Bypass, A228 Castle Way, Leybourne Way, A20 London Road, B2246 Hermitage Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, Malling Road, A228 Ashton Way and vice versa.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while road surfacing and lining works are undertaken by Gallagher Ltd.
