Temporary Road Closure – Birling Road, Leybourne4th September 2019
It will be necessary to close Birling Road, Leybourne from 4th September 2019 for up to 1 day between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00
The road will be closed 64m from the junction with Bannister Way, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The One-way Traffic Order in respect of Birling Road will be suspended, to allow access to traffic following the diversion route from A20 London Road direction.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Birling Road, Bull Road, Ryarsh Road, The Street, Roughetts Road, A20 London Road, Birling Road and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works on an existing pole are undertaken by BT.
