Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council’s new Waste & Recycling Contract has now started. The new contractor, Urbaser will be taking over from the existing contractor (Veolia).

In terms of the public, there will be no change to the service they receive, except for the livery on the vehicles changing and the staff appearing in new orange uniforms. This is a joint contract with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, although the service in Tunbridge Wells does not start until 30th March.
During this week every Borough resident should be receiving an introductory leaflet from Urbaser and the Council explaining the change and also drawing attention to the new service improvements being introduced from 30th September 2019.
A separate leaflet explaining the new service improvements is being sent out with Council Tax bills next month.
If you are aware of any problems with the new contract please advise contact the Waste Team by email (www.tmbc.gov.uk/recycleforall) or by phone (01732 876147).
